Each year, registration begins on May 1st.  The dance season begins in mid-August.  The season concludes with a major final production.  In even-numbered years, the performance is the last week in May.  In odd-numbered years, it is the first week in June

Regular classes are not in session during the months of June and July.  During these months, teachers and intermediate to advanced students to travel to various conventions for intensive study.  Additionally, during the summer, The Studio+ usually offers several in-house workshops with master instructors.  Workshop dates are announced as information is available.

Students who register for the following season on or before June 1 receive a discounted rate of $50.  After June 1, the registration fee is $75.

Open registration and dancewear fittings are held during July and August.  The Studio+ carries the dancewear necessary to meet its dress code requirements.  Dancewear must be individually fitted and ordered, preferably prior to the start of classes.

Class placement is determined by the teaching staff following an individual review of each student’s skill level, work ethic, attitude, attendance record, age, grade, and other applicable factors.  Age and grade may influence, but do not determine placement.  Students are placed into classes wherein it is believed that they will be optimally challenged and most successful.

Each season, class schedules are set in accordance with instructor availability and student demand.  Season schedules are typically finalized by August 1; however, they are subject to change until the season opens in mid-August.
